Our role is a business advisor not a sales organization

Sometimes the best solution for your organization involves products that we sell.  Sometimes the solution is to buy products that other companies sell.  If the solutions we sell aren’t what you need, we’re going to tell you immediately.  In fact, we’ll do our best to steer you towards the right product or vendor.  If you choose to do business with us, we don’t judge the success of a project by how much we sell.  We judge it by how much value we help you get from what you buy.

Sometimes it’s not politically correct for you to ask the “right” questions.  Or you may not know all the questions to ask.  As an outside business advisor, we have the luxury and responsibility of asking the right questions of the right people to help develop the right solution.

One of the most important jobs we perform as your advisor is accurately setting your expectations, the expectations of your department head and the expectations of your internal customers (users).  We do this by being completely honest about what our solutions do well, what they don’t do well and occasionally giving you that “don’t even go there” look. 

We truly believe our job is to make you a hero

We understand that you put your reputation on the line every time you bring a new vendor into your organization.  After our project is complete, we want your department head singling you out during your next staff meeting and telling your co-workers “…all of our projects should be run this way.”  While we’ll do everything we can to ensure the project’s success, we can’t promise you the Accounting department will treat you to lunch on Friday.

When we come onsite for an installation, we like to get in, get it done right the first time and get out, so you can move on to other projects.  We don’t like standing around waiting for something that needs to be done because we forgot to tell you that we needed it.  We don’t want your boss nervously checking-in every hour asking, “How are things going?” We work extremely hard to help you understand all of the technical requirements that you need to meet before we arrive on-site.  Because the truth is, nothing kills the excitement of a new system faster than a problem-plagued implementation.    

We deploy products that “make the needle move”

The products we sell are easy to deploy and easy to use.  That means they’re quickly adopted making the project highly visible within your organization.  This makes it even more important for you that the project is done quickly and efficiently.

We perform magic, but we let you in on the trick

We don’t insist on being the “man behind the curtain” like the Wizard of Oz.  Some vendors have a unique way of earning customer loyalty – they never tell their customers anything about what they’re doing.  Every time a customer needs something done, they have to call-in the vendor.  We’ll teach you as much as you want to know, or need to know about the systems we implement.  We believe in helping you become self-sufficient, but we’re available when you need us.
